This will be my 3rd Hobie Fishing World Championships attendance following on from the 3rd Hobie Fishing World Championships Victoria, Australia 2013, and again at the 4thHobie Fishing World Championships in Amsterdam, The Netherlands 2014.

As a regular Salt Water fisherman this is where my strengths are, and feel the hunt for Reds in particular will be the most suited to my area of expertise of any of the Worlds so far.

My favourite quarry is chasing Yellowtail Kingfish around our coastal and offshore structure, and pulling big Snapper from the kelp.

After placing 6th equal on day one of the 4HFWC in Amsterdam and later slipping to finish 25th, I feel like I have some ground to make up.

I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, and meeting the new faces from one of the greatest collections of fishing men and women from around the globe. Having no doubt the quality of these events are of the highest standard, I am truly looking forward to this event.
